Stratton Included in Hannah Report Story Titled “DeWine Stresses Training, Justice System Improvements at Mental Health Event”

Evelyn Lundberg Stratton, of counsel in the Vorys Columbus office who prior to joining Vorys served as justice on the Supreme Court of Ohio for 16 years, was mentioned in a Hannah Report story on recent speech by Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine.  According to the story, DeWine gave the keynote speech at the 41st annual meeting of North Central Mental Health, a Columbus-based organization providing a variety of services at numerous facilities.  In the speech, he highlighted his work on mental health issues and his work with Stratton.

The story states:

“As attorney general, DeWine said he's worked to address the issue by changing the curriculum at the Ohio Peace Office Training Academy to include detection and de-escalation techniques for police officers who encounter people in crisis, as well as worked with former Ohio Supreme Court Justice Evelyn Stratton on a task force dedicated to mental health and criminal justice issues.”
