3/8/13 Vorys Attorneys Selected as 2013 Texas Rising Stars by Super Lawyers Magazine
Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease is pleased to announce that Tiffany Bingham Briscoe, Latosha Lewis Payne and Joseph Schreiber have been named 2013 Texas Rising Stars by Super Lawyers Magazine. Rising Stars are chosen by their peers as being among the most recognizable up-and-coming lawyers in Texas.
Briscoe is a partner in the litigation group. Her practice encompasses litigation and trial work in premises liability, products liability and employee wrongful death cases throughout Texas. An experienced litigator, Briscoe also handles commercial litigation matters, including the representation of financial and lending institutions in real estate litigation cases. She received her J.D. from Harvard Law School and her B.A. summa cum laude from Xavier University.
Payne is of counsel in the litigation and energy and environmental groups. She has first and second chair trial experience in toxic tort and traditional environmental claims, products and premise liability, wrongful death claims, real estate litigation, debt collection claims, credit reporting claims and food contamination claims. Payne also has significant experience in commercial breach of contract actions and insurance coverage claims. Payne received her J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law and her B.A. from Tulane University.
Schreiber is associate in the litigation group. He has significant experience in toxic and mass torts litigation, including claims for personal injury due to asbestos and chemical exposure. In addition, he has commercial litigation experience, including breach of contract, copyright litigation, and construction litigation. Schreiber also has experience in internal investigations. Schreiber received his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law and his B.A. from Macalester College.
