5/18/12 Wendell Elected Chair of the Houston Metropolitan Chamber Board of Directors
Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease is pleased to announce that Sharon Wendell, an associate in the Vorys' Houston office, will serve as Chairman of the Board of the Houston Metropolitan Chamber until 2014. The Houston Metropolitan Chamber has more than 500 members and connects commerce & community through activities in the areas of education, economic development, business resources, government affairs and other special activities.
Wendell is a member of the litigation group. Her practice focuses on personal injury litigation, defense of claims alleging exposure to benzene, butadiene and asbestos. Wendell has experience litigating matters of mass tort and products liability, as well as oil and gas; patent and trademark prosecution; and workers' compensation. She has also assisted in the defense of various large corporations.
