6/25/09 Bar Association names Vorys attorney to Diversity Council

Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP is pleased to announce that associate Jocelyn N. Prewitt-Stanley has been named to the Ohio State Bar Association (OSBA) Advisory Council on Diversity Initiatives.  The Council seeks to enhance diversity in the legal profession, and will coordinate, enhance and implement OSBA’s diversity efforts to promote the full and equal participation in the legal profession by minorities, women, persons with disabilities, and persons of differing sexual orientations and gender identities.

Prewitt-Stanley is a member of Vorys’ litigation group.  Her practice focuses on banking and insurance litigation.  She received her J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law, where she was a member of the Journal of Gender, Race and Justice.

Ransier, chair of the Vorys Diversity Committee.  “Vorys has a long history of being a leader in diversity in the legal profession, and Jocelyn’s appointment is part of that tradition.
