Ziance Quoted in “Former Dispatch Headquarters Seeks Place on Historic Register”

Scott Ziance, a partner in the Columbus office, was quoted in a Columbus Dispatch story regarding the application for historic designation that was filed by the owners of the Dispatch building at 34 S. 3rd St., in Columbus.

The story states:

“The company wants the building on the Columbus Register of Historic Places. It also is considering filing an application to be placed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Being placed on the Columbus register would qualify the building to be considered for Ohio historic tax credits, a competitive process, said Scott Ziance, who has represented Columbus developer Casto as tax-credit counsel. Being placed on the national register would qualify it for federal credits as well. The federal process is not competitive.”
