Sandra Anderson Named to Ohio University Board of Trustees

Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP is pleased to announce that Sandra J. Anderson, a partner with Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP, has been appointed to a nine-year term on the Ohio University Board of Trustees by Gov. Ted Strickland.

Ms. Anderson has a general litigation practice which includes employment, commercial, business and product liability law.  She is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, and was recently named in The Best Lawyers in America in four categories: Alternative Dispute Resolution, Commercial Litigation, Labor and Employment Law and Personal Injury Litigation.

Ms. Anderson currently serves as Chair of the following:  The Ohio Supreme Court Board of Commissioners on Grievances and Discipline; the Columbus Bar Foundation Board of Trustees; and the Local Rules Advisory Committee for the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.  Also, she has served as a faculty member of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy and as an Adjunct Professor for The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and Capital University Law School. 

A summa cum laude graduate of Ohio University in 1973, Ms. Anderson received her law degree, magna cum laude, from Northwestern University in 1976.
