Palmieri Named to American Bar Association Section Officer Position

Andrew Palmieri, a partner in the Alexandria office of Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP, has been elected an officer of the American Bar Association’s Section of Real Property, Trust and Estate Law, a 30,000-member organization of the nation’s leading real estate and estate planning lawyers.

Mr. Palmieri will serve as Vice Chair of the Section’s Real Property Division, which focuses on legal aspects of property use, ownership, development, transfer, regulation, financing, taxation and disposal. A 2008 Virginia Super Lawyer for real estate, Mr. Palmieri will be responsible for special projects, initiatives and overseeing the work of the substantive groups and committees of the Real Property Division.

Palmieri is a member of the commercial and real estate practice group at Vorys and specializes in complex commercial, corporate and real estate transactions, including the development and acquisition of multi-family residential and commercial real estate projects. He assists clients in the acquisition, financing, leasing and selling of commercial projects.
