Horwitz Among Top Twenty Young Professionals in Northeast Ohio

Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP is pleased to announce that Gayle I. Horwitz, an associate in its Cleveland office, has been recognized as a member of Crain’s Cleveland Business “Twenty In Their 20s Class of 2008.”

The 2008 class is comprised of the most dynamic, young professionals in Northeast Ohio, who are making a mark both professionally and through their community involvement and are helping shape the business community in Northeast Ohio. The group will be officially recognized at a reception on Thursday, May 1, 2008 at the House of Blues in Cleveland.

In addition to this most recent honor, Horwitz recently won the Ohio State Bar Foundation, District Community Service Award for Attorneys 40 and Under. She received this recognition for her work as Co-founder and President of the Northeast Ohio Chapter of the American Constitution Society, as well as for her work with community organizations such as the Cleveland Jewish News, the Jewish Community Federation of Cleveland's Strengthening & Growing Jewish Cleveland Project and the William K. Thomas Inn of Court.

As a member of the litigation practice group, Horwitz has represented parties in a wide variety of business litigation, including contract claims, employment discrimination, benefits disputes, trademark issues and First Amendment matters.

Horwitz received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and is a member of the American Bar Association and the Cleveland Bar Association.
