Christina M. Lyons
Ms. Lyons is an associate in the Vorys Houston office and a member of the corporate and finance practice group. Her practice includes general corporation law, as well as banking regulatory compliance and corporate governance for both profit and nonprofit entities in the health care, banking and manufacturing industries. She represents both private and public company clients involved in mergers and stock and asset acquisitions and has also assisted in the start-up of de novo banks.
Ms. Lyons is also a registered nurse. Prior to joining Vorys, she worked at one of Columbus' largest hospitals in its cardiac and level 1 trauma intensive care units.
Career highlights include:
- Assisting hospitals in securing county revenue bonds for improvements and expansions
- Representing middle market private companies in connection with mergers, acquisitions and recapitalizations, as well as corporate governance matters
- Assisting community banks in raising capital through private offerings of common stock
- Serving as regulatory counsel to community banks, including de novo formation and holding company reorganizations
Ms. Lyons received her J.D. magna cum laude from Capital University Law School, where she was a member of the Order of the Curia, and her B.S.N. from The Ohio State University.
