James H. Gross
Mr. Gross is a retired partner in the Vorys Columbus office. Mr. Gross had a diverse corporate, securities and municipal law practice representing public and private businesses, boards of directors and special committees, nonprofit organizations, trade associations and public bodies.
Career highlights include:
- Counseling clients in numerous mergers, acquisitions and dispositions, as well as high profile hostile takeovers
- Bexley, Ohio, City Attorney, 1985-2007
Mr. Gross has spoken on mergers and acquisitions, going private transactions, corporate governance, including Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 compliance, executive compensation, media law and liability issues for corporate and nonprofit directors, officers and volunteers.
Mr. Gross received his LL.B. from Harvard Law School. He received his B.A. summa cum laude from The Ohio State University.
