Daren S. Garcia
Mr. Garcia is a partner in the Vorys Columbus office and a member of the litigation group. His trial practice focuses primarily on commercial, corporate and products liability cases on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants.
He has successfully tried breach of contract, corporate governance and fiduciary duty, property conversion and consumer cases to final verdict in state and federal courts, as well as through arbitration.
Mr. Garcia also has gained substantial experience defending class action suits across the country involving securities laws, claims relating to prescription drug pricing, wage and hour laws, consumer laws and fraud claims. In addition, he has resolved numerous cases through injunctive relief, summary judgment or favorable settlement in the areas of franchisor/franchisee disputes, chemical exposures, misappropriation of trade secrets, unfair trade practices, premises liability and employment discrimination.
Mr. Garcia obtained his J.D. from the Emory University School of Law and his B.A. with honors from The Ohio State University.
