Jane B. Gaines

Ms. Gaines is a commercial and real estate paralegal in the Vorys Columbus office.  Her work involves all aspects of the purchase and sale of real property, real estate financing, leasing, secured transactions, Freddie Mac transactions, complex and multi-state and multi-site real estate transactions, including review and analysis of title insurance and surveys and attention to due diligence requirements for closing.  Ms. Gaines also is involved in drafting commercial real estate documents, including loan documents, purchase agreements and supporting documentation, security agreements, financing statements, escrow agreements, loan modifications and leases.  She also focuses on work-out/pre-bankruptcy issues, foreclosure litigation and judicial sales, creditors’ rights, mechanics’ liens and collection matters.

Ms. Gaines is an associate member of the Ohio State Bar Association the Columbus Bar Association, and the Paralegal Association of Central Ohio.
