Bryan J. Farkas
Mr. Farkas is a partner in the Vorys Cleveland office and a member of the bankruptcy, commercial and real estate groups. He primarily represents businesses and financial institutions in acquisitions, financings, bankruptcy proceedings, commercial litigation matters and real estate transactions.
His notable experience includes:
- Representing a purchaser of a $14.5 million nursery out of bankruptcy and receivership
- Acting as lead counsel to a borrower in a $50 million secured line of credit transaction
- Frequently representing creditors, receivers, and trustees in bankruptcy and other insolvency proceedings
- Regularly counseling financial institutions in all aspects of creditors' rights' law
Mr. Farkas is a member of Turnaround Management Association.
Mr. Farkas received his J.D. cum laude from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and his B.A. from the University of California.
