Robin P. Bravchok
Ms. Bravchok is an associate in the Vorys Columbus office and a member of the health care group. Her practice focuses on health care law, and she has experience representing long-term care providers, MR/DD providers, behavioral health providers, hospitals, physicians, nurses, and other ancillary service providers in connection with federal and state regulatory issues, physician and nurse practice, fraud and abuse, licensure and accreditation, anti-kickback and Stark compliance, HIPAA, EMTALA, Medicare and Medicaid laws and reimbursement, medical staff issues, drafting and negotiation of contracts, certificate of need applications and hearings, and litigation matters.
Prior to law school, Ms. Bravchok practiced as a critical care and emergency department nurse, and she retains an active nursing license.
Ms. Bravchok is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Columbus Bar Association.
Ms. Bravchok has given several presentations on such issues as HIPAA, healthcare ethics, Medicare and Medicaid incentives for the use of electronic health records, and the Fraud Enforcement and Recovery Act.
Ms. Bravchok received her J.D. magna cum laude from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, and her B.S. summa cum laude from the Franciscan University of Steubenville.
