Anker M. Bell

Mr. Bell is a partner in the Columbus office where he practices in the technology and intellectual property group.  He is a business lawyer with an emphasis on assisting clients in technology and intellectual property matters, including copyright, trademark and trade secrets.

Career highlights include:

• Counseling manufacturers, vendors and purchasers of specialized equipment, computer software, and computer systems and networks
• Negotiating and drafting agreements involving software licensing and development, technology investment, trademark protection and licensing, contracting, and issues related to website development and hosting and electronic commerce
• Working closely with owners of software companies and sophisticated equipment manufacturers regarding the protection of their intellectual property assets and other legal issues related to their businesses, including their ultimate sale or merger

Mr. Bell is a member of the American Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar Association.

Mr. Bell received his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School and his M.A. and B.A. cum laude from The Ohio State University.
