Craig R. Auge
Columbus Office
Mr. Auge is a partner in the Vorys Columbus office and a member of the technology and intellectual property group. He has counseled purchasers, vendors, manufacturers and users in all aspects of technology transactions and has assisted clients in software, computer, e-commerce, copyright, database and confidentiality matters.
Career highlights include:
- Structured and negotiated major retailers’ website platforming and e-commerce agreements
- Assisted dozens of non-technology companies in acquiring software licenses and development, installation and hosting services from key industry vendors
- Drafted variety of form contracts for technology service providers, including consultants, credit card processors and on-line merchants
Mr. Auge is a member of the Columbus Intellectual Property Law Association and the Computer Law Association.
Mr. Auge presented “Technology Contracting Overview” and “Independent Contractor Overview” at meetings for the Ohio Library Council.
Mr. Auge received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. He received his M.A. from the University of Notre Dame and his B.A. summa cum laude from Bowling Green State University where he was Phi Beta Kappa.
