Duke W. Thomas
Columbus Office
Mr. Thomas is of counsel in the Vorys Columbus office and a member of the litigation practice. Mr. Thomas practices in civil litigation in the state and federal courts throughout Ohio. His practice covers all areas of civil litigation including class actions, legal malpractice, product liability and contract disputes.
Career Highlights Include:
- Served as lead counsel in class action cases and lead counsel in complex litigation for a number of Fortune 500 companies
- Appointed by the Ohio Senate and Ohio House of Representatives as Chairman of the Joint Select Committee on Judicial Compensation in 1988. The report of this Committee resulted in a significant increase in salaries for all judges in the State of Ohio
Mr. Thomas is a member of the American Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association and the Columbus Bar Association.
Mr. Thomas received his J.D. from The Ohio State University College of Law and his B.S.B.A. from The Ohio State University.
