Susan A. Cohen

Columbus Office

Ms. Cohen is a partner in the Vorys Columbus office and a member of the labor and employment group.  Her national practice focuses exclusively on the representation of management in employment issues.  With a focus on the proactive identification of potential legal issues, she assists management in policy development and implementation, training, and early issue resolution. Once issues have arisen, Ms. Cohen is adept in alternative dispute resolution and, where necessary, managing state and federal litigation to their best outcome.

Her experience includes counseling top corporate management on the legal implications of business strategies and serving as a business partner to top corporate management, thereby enabling the firm’s corporate clients to make the best decisions for their businesses at every stage.

Ms. Cohen is a member of the American Bar Association and the Columbus Bar Association. 

Ms. Cohen is a frequent presenter on employment law and corporate values, California sexual harassment, and national employment law for human resources professionals.

Ms. Cohen received her J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law magna cum laude and was a member of the Order of the Coif.  She was also a member of the University of Pittsburgh Law Review and served as its Symposium Editor.  She received her B.A. cum laude from Washington and Jefferson College.
