Ms. Purcell is a staff attorney in the Vorys Cleveland office and a member of the litigation group.  Ms. Purcell concentrates her practice on labor and employment with an emphasis on workers’ compensation.  Her litigation career has focused on the defense of employers, the cost-effective management of workers’ compensation claims and matters relating to unemployment and employment.

Her notable experience includes:

• Certification by the Ohio State Bar Association as a specialist in the area of workers’ compensation since 2003
• Defending numerous Ohio court actions arising from alleged work-related asbestos exposure

Ms. Purcell is a frequent speaker on a variety of workers’ compensation topics, including the relationship between workers’ compensation and employment and human resource issues.

Ms. Purcell received her J.D. from The University of Toledo College of Law and her B.S. from Bowling Green State University.
