Micah Mitchell Hines

Cincinnati Office

Ms. Micah Mitchell Hines is a staff attorney in the Vorys Cincinnati office and a member of the litigation group. She practices general civil litigation with a particular emphasis on cases filed pursuant to the Federal False Claims Act. Prior to joining Vorys, she was litigation counsel at State Farm Insurance Companies. Ms. Hines served as counsel for State Farm and its policy holders in over 150 trials, including 6 jury trials.

• Certified by the National Institute of Trial Advocacy (NITA)
• Tried over 150 trials

Ms. Hines is a member of the Cincinnati, Minnesota State and Maryland State Bar Associations. She is admitted to practice before the Minnesota Supreme Court, Maryland Court of Appeals and the U.S. District Court for Maryland.

Ms. Hines received her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 2002 where she was a Dean's Scholar.  She received her B.A. from Duke University in 1999.
