Ms. Laux is a staff attorney in the Vorys Cincinnati office and is a member of the tax group.  She practices in the areas of estate planning, including wills, revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, health care powers of attorney and living wills, as well as probate administration-decedent’s estate and guardianships.  Ms. Laux has significant experience in representing guardians whose wards are receiving disability benefits from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA guardianships).

Ms. Laux is a member of the American Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association, Cincinnati Bar Association, and Greater Cincinnati Estate Planning Counsel.

Ms. Laux has lectured on several topics including Basic Estate Planning and Probate; The Use of Life Insurance in Estate Planning; Trusts in Ohio; and Administering a Decedent’s Estate in Ohio.

Ms. Laux received her J.D. cum laude from Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University, in 1993.  She was a member of the Law Review, Moot Court and Student Bar Association.  Ms. Laux received her B.S.B.A., cum laude from Xavier University in 1982.
