Ms. Jeanes is an immigration paralegal in the Vorys Columbus office.  She supports the immigration practice by working with employers to obtain immigrant and nonimmigrant visas for their foreign employees, as well as their family members, as well as individuals seeking family-sponsored visas, naturalization, or other immigrant status.  She assists in the preparation of various employment-based visa petitions, including H-1B, J-1, L-1, O-1, TN and TN petitions. 

Ms. Jeanes is a licensed attorney in Venezuela and is fluent in English and Spanish as well as having a working knowledge of Portuguese.

From August 2003 to March 2004, Ms. Jeanes assisted The Legal Aid Society of Northwest North Carolina, Inc. in providing support on family, consumer, immigration, contracts, and negotiations matters, as well as regulatory issues across a broad range of legal subjects to support Hispanic clients.  She planned, directed, and performed outreach activities within the Hispanic community and organizations.
