Audrey S. Adams

Cincinnati Office

Ms. Adams is an associate in the Vorys Cincinnati office and a member of the labor and employment group.  She counsels clients on their employment practices as they relate to federal and state labor and employment laws including Title VII, the American with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), collective bargaining, grievance arbitrations, National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) hearings and employment litigation.

Her notable experience includes:

  • Serving as chief spokesperson during collective bargaining negotiations
  • Defending employers against discrimination charges filed with various state agencies as well as the Equal Employment Opportunities Commission (EEOC)
  • Defending against unfair labor practice charges filed with the NLRB
  • Providing advice regarding representation petitions filed with the NLRB
  • Representing employers at grievance arbitrations

Ms. Adams is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Cincinnati Bar Association.

Ms. Adams has given presentations on Title VII.

Ms. Adams received her law degree from the University of Dayton School of Law and her B.A. cum laude from Albion College.

Ms. Adams clerked for the Honorable Adele Riley of the Montgomery County Common Pleas Court.

Before joining Vorys, Ms. Adams was an associate with Cooper, Gentile & Washington Co., LPA in Dayton from January 2000 to April 2005 and was labor counsel with First Student, Inc. from April 2005 to July 2007.
