Arielle F. Hinton

Ms. Hinton* is an associate in the Vorys Washington, D.C. office and a member of the corporate and finance practice group. Her practice focuses on government relations, public contracting and procurement, corporate investigations, and litigation. She also assists clients in devising and drafting proposed legislation, preparing testimony, and amending legislation. As a prosecutor, Ms. Hinton investigated and prosecuted various types of criminal conduct including fraud cases.

Her notable experience includes:

  • Serving as Deputy Legal Counsel to the Governor of Maryland and providing legal counsel on various issues to the Governor, cabinet-level departments and various government agencies

  • Serving as an Assistant State's Attorney in Montgomery County, Maryland and trying over 20 jury trials and countless bench trials

Ms. Hinton is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, the Bar Association of Montgomery County and the Women's Bar Association.

Ms. Hinton received her J.D. from Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law. She received her B.A. from Tufts University where she received the Outstanding Academic Performance Award.
