Richard L. Moore
Cincinnati Office
Mr. Moore is a partner in the Vorys Cincinnati office and a member of the litigation group. He has a general litigation practice with specific expertise in the areas of employment discrimination, workers' compensation, construction, medical malpractice and personal injury.
Career highlights include:
- Obtaining the dismissal via motions for summary judgment of multiple cases filed against a major manufacturer for a series of discrimination claims following a reduction in force
- Serving as first chair in a number of cases taken to jury verdict in both state and federal courts in a variety of matters including employment discrimination and medical malpractice
- Lecturing regarding workers' compensation, presenting lectures on mold claims from defective construction, and writing articles on electronic discovery
Mr. Moore is a member of the Cincinnati Bar Association and the Black Lawyers Association of Cincinnati.
Mr. Moore received his J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law where he was a member of the University of Cincinnati Law Review. He received his B.S. from Bowling Green State University, specializing in Management Information Systems.
