Mr. Gottschall is an associate in the Vorys Columbus office and a member of the commercial and real estate group. His practice touches upon all areas of commercial real estate, including sales and acquisitions, leasing, financing, development (including zoning and annexation), and construction. He specializes in commercial retail leasing and construction.

His notable experience includes:

• Serving as a primary outside counsel for several national retailers
• Leading the team of attorneys working on the merger of two Fortune 500 companies
• Representing the owner/developer of a major commercial and retail development project regarding sales and development matters

Mr. Gottschall is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Columbus Bar Association and the International Council of Shopping Centers.

Mr. Gottschall is a frequent speaker at real property seminars, including those organized by the Ohio State Bar Association, on the topics of leasing, title and survey matters, real estate due diligence, boundary law and adjoining landowner disputes.

Mr. Gottschall received his J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law and his B.A. summa cum laude from Miami University.
