Randall D. LaTour

Columbus Office

Mr. LaTour is a partner in the Vorys Columbus office and a member of the bankruptcy practice group.  He has extensive experience in the areas of bankruptcy, debtor/creditor, collections, commercial, secured lending, real estate, and commercial litigation, with emphasis on bankruptcy proceedings and workouts.

Career highlights include:

  • Serving as lead counsel in a $1 billion Chapter 11 case in which the debtor successfully reorganized in six months
  • Serving as lead counsel in the $100 million liquidating Chapter 11 case of an international air freight company
  • Serving as counsel to the trustee in a liquidating Chapter 11 proceeding of an apartment development with more than 1600 units
  • Serving as a member of a litigation team that achieved satisfaction of a judgment in excess of $100 million

Mr. LaTour is a member of the Columbus Bar Association and the American Bankruptcy Institute.

Mr. LaTour is a frequent lecturer on bankruptcy, collection law, and foreclosure topics.  

Mr. LaTour received his J.D. with honors from The Ohio State University College of Law and his B.A. with honors and distinction from The Ohio State University.
