Charles S. DeRousie

Columbus Office

Mr. DeRousie is a partner in the Vorys Columbus office where he is a member of the corporate and finance practice group and head of the health care group.  Mr. DeRousie counsels banks, bank holding companies, health care organizations, and other businesses on regulatory compliance, interaction with government entities, mergers, acquisitions and all aspects of their business, transactional, and regulatory relationships.

Career highlights include:

  • Assisting several bank and bank holding company clients through growth and regulatory issues
  • Representing numerous health care clients in all aspects of the health care industry

Mr. DeRousie is a member of the American Bar Association, American Health Lawyers Association, the Ohio Bar Association, and the Columbus Bar Association.

Mr. DeRousie has lectured at seminars on various corporate issues, including health care organization mergers and acquisitions, governance of health care organizations, governance of non-profit organizations, business aspects of health care provider contracting, and Ohio corporate law and indemnification.

Mr. DeRousie received his J.D. magna cum laude from the University of Michigan where he was a member of the Order of the Coif.  He received his B.A. magna cum laude from Oakland University.
