Corrine S. Carman

Ms. Carman is a senior attorney in the Vorys Columbus office and a member of the litigation group. She represents Fortune 500 retail, grocery, and manufacturing companies in employment-related litigation, including workers' compensation, wrongful termination, and intentional tort actions.
Career highlights include:
- Extensive experience defending companies in litigation matters involving workers' compensation, intentional tort, personal injury, and safety violation claims
- Representing closely held family corporations, Fortune 500 national retail stores, grocery companies, and manufacturers in court and before the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation and Industrial Commission
- Defending charges filed with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the Ohio Civil Rights Commission (OCRC)
- Assisting clients in the development and implementation of return to work programs and continuing education of employees with respect to Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and workers' compensation issues
- Defending Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) whistleblower actions
Ms. Carman has been a frequent speaker at seminars related to Ohio workers' compensation and the interplay between compensation, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Family Medical Leave Act.
Ms. Carman received her J.D. from Capital University Law School where she was on the Moot Court Board and was the Notes Editor for the Capital University Law Review. She received her B.A. from West Virginia University.
