Patricia M. Ochmann
Akron Office
Ms. Ochmann is an associate in the Vorys Akron office and a member of the labor and employment practice group where she specializes in the area of health care. She counsels hospitals, physicians and other health care providers regarding Stark and Anti-Kickback fraud and abuse, joint ventures, corporate compliance, physician recruitment and employment, medical staff credentialing, issues affecting tax-exempt organizations, clinical research and institutional review board matters and mergers and acquisitions. In addition, she focuses on the broad transactional and business aspects of corporate health care.
Ms. Ochmann is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, the Ohio Bar Association, and the Akron Bar Association.
Ms. Ochmann presented “Collaborating in a Competitive Marketplace: Deal Point and Regulatory Aspects of Physician and Hospital Joint Ventures” at the Ohio State Bar Association’s Health Care Law Continuing Legal Education Seminar held in August 2007.
Ms. Ochmann received her J.D. magna cum laude from The University of Akron School of Law and her B.S. from Kent State University.
Ms. Ochmann is a certified mediator.
