Michael J. Bronson
Cincinnati Office
Mr. Bronson is an associate in the Vorys Cincinnati office and a member of the litigation group. He practices in general litigation with particular experience defending corporations in qui tam and False Claims Act cases. He also has experience in white collar criminal matters and complex commercial litigation, including arbitration.
Career highlights include:
- Member of a trial team that won a directed verdict after a five week qui tam False Claims Act jury trial
- Tried commercial cases to successful verdicts
- Assisted clients in obtaining dismissals of a number of False Claims Act cases prior to discovery
- Represented clients successfully in federal and state courts of appeals
Mr. Bronson is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Warren County Bar Association and the Cincinnati Bar Association.
Mr. Bronson has spoken on the False Claims Act and healthcare compliance to the Ohio Hospital Association and the University of Cincinnati College of Law.
Mr. Bronson received his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School where he was Managing Editor of the Vanderbilt Law Review. He received his B.A. magna cum laude from Denison University where he was Phi Beta Kappa.
Before joining Vorys, Mr. Bronson clerked for the Honorable Terrence W. Boyle, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina.
