Ms. Everett is of counsel in the Vorys Cleveland office and practices in litigation and workers’ compensation.  She represents Ohio employers in all aspects of workers’ compensation law, including administrative hearings before the Industrial Commission and appeals of claims to the courts of common pleas courts and the Ohio Court of Appeals.  Ms. Everett also represents employers in state and federal court cases involving intentional tort, retaliatory discharge and unemployment and counsels them extensively on the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). 

Career highlights include:

• Representing employers in workers compensation asbestos as well as other hazardous exposure claims

Ms. Everett is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association.

Ms. Everett speaks at various seminars several times per year on workers’ compensation issues.

Ms. Everett received her J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and her A.B. from Miami University.
