Thomas J. Onusko

Cleveland Office

Mr. Onusko is of counsel in the Vorys Cleveland office and a member of the corporate and finance group.  His practice includes representation of health care providers in such matters as Stark and Anti-Kickback compliance, hospital-physician contracts, medical staff relations, mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures. His practice also involves tax exempt bond financing, including health care revenue bonds and economic development bonds.

Mr. Onusko is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Greater Cleveland Bar Association, the Society of Ohio Hospital Attorneys, the American Health Lawyers Association and the National Association of Bond Lawyers.

Mr. Onusko is an Adjunct Professor in Health Care Law at Case Western Reserve University School of Law and at the Cleveland State University School of Business Administration Health Care Administration Program.

Mr. Onusko has presented on topics regarding the hospital/physician relationship, including how hospitals can avoid mistakes in physician contracts and joint ventures between hospitals and physicians.  He has spoken at the annual meeting of the American Health Lawyers Association, the Annual Health Care Law Institute of the Greater Cleveland Bar Association and Inquisit audio conferences.

Mr. Onusko received his J.D. from Cornell Law School and his B.A. magna cum laude from the University of Notre Dame.
