Mr. Ransier is a partner in the Vorys Columbus office and a member of the bankruptcy practice and the government affairs and lobbying group.  He has served as a Bankruptcy Trustee for the Southern District of Ohio since 1988 and represents clients in commercial and real estate matters.

Mr. Ransier is a member of the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees, the National Bar Association, the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Ohio Bar Association and the Columbus Bar Association.

Mr. Ransier lectured at the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges on “Means Testing,” and at the Columbus Bar Association on “What Does a Trustee Really Want to See.”  He gave the Charter Day Address at Central State University.

Mr. Ransier received his J.D. from The Ohio State University College of Law and his B.A. from Central State University.
