Robert M.M. Shaffer

Mr. Shaffer is a partner in the Vorys Cincinnati office and a member of the corporate and finance practice group. He provides general business counsel to companies of all sizes and stages of development on numerous issues ranging from basic commercial and consumer contract fundamentals to the companies’ trade, revenue and costs. He also advises companies on complex financing programs involving multiple classes of founder, employee and investor equity for both corporations and limited liability companies. His transactional practice involves a wide array of merger and acquisition transactions, private equity and venture fund financings, public and private debt and equity securities offerings, and strategic investment and partnering arrangements.

- Representing sellers and buyers in mergers and acquisitions of privately held businesses

Mr. Shaffer is a member of the Cincinnati Bar Association.
Mr. Shaffer received his J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law and his B.A. from Yale University.
