Barbara A. Sanchez
Akron Office
Ms. Sanchez is an associate in the Vorys Akron office and a member of the commercial and real estate group. Her practice involves all aspects of commercial real estate and loan transactions.
Her notable experience includes:
- Involvement in commercial real estate transactions including the lease, purchase, and/or sale of commercial real estate and various related transactions such as easements, options to purchase, and co-ownership agreements
- Representing lenders and borrowers in commercial loan transactions, including the preparation of loan agreements and loan documents for complex transactions
Ms. Sanchez is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Akron Bar Association, and the Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW).
Ms. Sanchez received her J.D. summa cum laude from The University of Akron School of Law where she was the Articles Editor of the Akron Law Review. She received her B.A. cum laude from Auburn University Montgomery.
Ms. Sanchez was an extern for The Honorable Deborah Cook on the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit in 2004 and an intern for the Department of Justice in the U. S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Ohio in 2004-2005.
