Kathreen Nuber McGinnis

Kathreen N. McGinnis is an associate in the Vorys Columbus office. She is a member of the litigation group and primarily practices civil litigation. Ms. McGinnis has represented parties in eminent domain proceedings, insurance coverage disputes, and contractual disputes.
Her notable experience includes:
- Serving as the Prosecutor for the City of Bexley, Ohio since 2006
Ms. McGinnis is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Columbus Bar Association.
In her role as Prosecutor, Ms. McGinnis has prosecuted various municipal offenses, including building code violations for the City of Bexley. Ms. McGinnis is specifically trained in the computer and technical issues arising from the electronic discovery requirements of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.
While in law school, Ms. McGinnis competed in The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law’s Herman Moot Court Competition and was a finalist in both briefing and oral argument.
Ms. McGinnis received her J.D. with honors from The Ohio State University Michael E. Moritz College of Law, and her B.S. with high distinction from Ohio Northern University.
