Gail C. Ford
Columbus Office
Ms. Ford is a partner in the Vorys Columbus office and a member of the litigation group. Her practice focuses on complex litigation, including class actions involving nuclear plants, hazardous waste facilities, landfills and other industrial and manufacturing sites. Ms. Ford also has extensive experience in toxic tort, environmental, products liability, and business and commercial litigation.
Career highlights include:
- Currently serving as national counsel for a major multi-national Fortune 500 company in defense of chemical exposure cases filed throughout the country
- Defending numerous class action and individual cases alleging radiation and chemical exposures brought against contractors to the Department of Energy in connection with their operation of nuclear weapons and uranium enrichment plants in Ohio and Kentucky
Ms. Ford is a member of the American Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, the Columbus Bar Association, and the Defense Research Institute.
Ms. Ford has lectured on class actions, voir dire, opening statements and closing arguments.
Ms. Ford received her J.D. from The Ohio State University College of Law with honors and was a member of the Ohio State Law Journal. She received her M.S. and B.S. from The Ohio State University.
