Shawn M. Flahive
Columbus Office
Mr. Flahive is a partner in the Vorys Columbus office and a member of the corporate and finance practice group. He performs services for corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies involving a wide range of legal issues. He has a significant transactional practice involving mergers and acquisition work, securities law and insurance law. Mr. Flahive has represented issuers in Securities Exchange Commission registered offerings, as well as issuers and investors in private placements of securities. He regularly counsels clients on personal liability of directors and officers of corporations and corporate indemnification of such individuals and negotiates and drafts executive compensation agreements.
Mr. Flahive is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Columbus Bar Association.
Mr. Flahive has spoken on matters relating to director and officer indemnification and insurance.
Mr. Flahive received his J.D. cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center and his B.A. with high honors from the University of Notre Dame where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Omicron Delta Epsilon.
