Mr. Miller is a partner in the Vorys Columbus office and a member of the litigation group, where he specializes in land use, zoning, and eminent domain litigation, as well as securities-related litigation.

Career highlights include:

• Successfully representing defendants and plaintiffs at trial in federal and state courts, as well as in private arbitration, including before the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) and the American Arbitration Association (AAA)
• Obtaining multi-million dollar judgment in favor of a business client on breach of contract and fraud claims in private arbitration
• Obtaining a seven-figure jury verdict on behalf of a landowner in eminent domain litigation
• Obtaining a seven-figure judgment in favor of a business client on breach of contract and conversion claims in federal court
• Obtaining several defense judgments in securities disputes at arbitration before the NASD
• Extensive experience representing real estate developers, individuals and businesses before local administrative, legislative bodies, and state and federal courts in matters involving land use and zoning disputes

Mr. Miller is a member of the American Bar Association and the Columbus Bar Association.

Mr. Miller presented "Federal Takings Jurisprudence: From Penn Central to Kelo" at the CLE International Eminent Domain Conference in April 2008, and "Ohio's New Eminent Domain Law" at the Ohio Sate Bar Association's Real Property Update in May 2008.

Mr. Miller received his J.D. cum laude from Harvard Law School and his B.A. summa cum laude from The Ohio State University.

Mr. Miller clerked for the Honorable Susan J. Dlott of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
