Malcolm M. Mitchell, Jr.

Mr. Mitchell is a partner in the Vorys Alexandria office and a member of the bankruptcy practice where he specializes in bankruptcy, corporate and finance matters. Mr. Mitchell represents clients in complex business transactions and litigation. He also has extensive experience in representing creditors in bankruptcy.

Career highlights include:

• Serving as co-counsel in representing the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors in both bankruptcy cases involving a major airline
• Representing a client in recovering in excess of $20 million for his personal injuries

Mr. Mitchell is a member of the Virginia Bar Association.

Mr. Mitchell has lectured at many seminars on all aspects of bankruptcy law and practice.

Mr. Mitchell received his J.D. from the University of Richmond, The T.C. Williams School of Law, and his B.A. from Washington and Lee University.
