Corinne Marie Pouliquen

Ms. Pouliquen is of counsel and a registered patent attorney in the Vorys Washington, D.C. office where she is a member of the intellectual property group. Her practice is based in the areas of patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret, and unfair competition law, with a focus on business, intellectual property, licensing and litigation matters.
Career experiences include:

Providing strategic business and legal advice to domestic and foreign corporate clients and emerging companies and universities in connection with the development, management, protection and worldwide commercial exploitation of intellectual property assets, including patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets

Serving as in-house intellectual property counsel for a veterinary pharmaceutical company and patent counsel for a biotechnology company

A scientific background which includes experience as an analytical chemist and a veterinary research assistant
Ms. Pouliquen is a member of the District of Columbia Bar, the Maryland Bar, and the Virginia Bar. She is also a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association, the Association of University Technology Managers, and the Licensing Executive Society as well as a registered patent attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Ms. Pouliquen is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia.
Ms. Pouliquen has given presentations on various topics in intellectual property law, including the distinctions between patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets. She has also spoken on patent law, including patentable subject matter, standards for patentability, novelty requirements, determinations of inventorship, and establishing ownership in intellectual property.
Ms. Pouliquen received her J.D. from the Franklin Pierce Law Center and her B.S. from the University of Maryland.
Ms. Pouliquen is fluent in French and has a working knowledge of German.
