Gayle I. Horwitz
Cleveland Office
Ms. Horwitz is an associate in the Vorys Cleveland office where she is a member of the litigation practice group. She has represented parties in a wide variety of business litigation, including contract claims, employment discrimination, benefits disputes, trademark issues and First Amendment matters.
Her notable experience includes:
- Defending a national telecommunications company against claims of sex, age and disability discrimination
- Defending a national insurer against federal and state claims arising from alleged trademark infringement
- Counseling a university on oversight and First Amendment issues related to its student newspaper
Ms. Horwitz is a member of the American Bar Association and the Cleveland Bar Association.
Ms. Horwitz received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center where she was a member and Annual Review Editor of the Georgetown Journal of Gender and the Law. She received her B.A. summa cum laude from The George Washington University.
