Ms. Smith is a staff attorney in the Vorys Columbus office and a member of the litigation group.  Her practice focuses on civil litigation, defense of product liability and toxic tort claims.

Her notable experience includes:

• Serving as a member of the defense trial team in an asbestos suit brought against a major corporate client in Cuyahoga County, Ohio Common Pleas Court in July 2006
• Representing client in civil rights challenge to the Ohio DNA Act
• Representing corporate clients in defense of product liability actions pending in several Ohio counties

Ms. Smith is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Columbus Bar Association.

Ms. Smith received her J.D. from The Ohio State University Michael E. Moritz College of Law and her B.A. cum laude from Mount Holyoke College.
