Richard P. Fahey
Columbus Office
Mr. Fahey is a partner in the Vorys Columbus office and a member of the energy and environmental group. His practice involves counseling clients on a wide range of environmental matters including transactional, regulatory and administrative proceedings, and litigation in numerous state and federal courts.
Career highlights include:
- Briefing and arguing a number of environmental cases before the Ohio Court of Appeals and the Ohio Supreme Court
- Testifying before the United States Senate and Ohio General Assembly on solid and hazardous waste legislation
- Serving as an Assistant Ohio Attorney General of the Environmental Law Section from1973 to 1975
Mr. Fahey is a member of the American Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, the Columbus Bar Association, and the New Mexico Bar Association.
Mr. Fahey was the presenter at the Ohio State Bar Association, 2006 Annual environmental law seminar, “Future Trends in Ohio Environmental Law.” He is also a regular lecturer on various issues of environmental law, presenting at over 30 seminars.
Mr. Fahey received his J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law and his B.A. from San Francisco State University.
