Core Values
Our firm does excellent work, for excellent clients, by attorneys who are excellent people.
Excellent work
Vorys has long enjoyed a reputation for representing significant clients in complex and challenging legal matters. We have been involved in virtually every kind of litigation across a wide variety of industries. We have represented clients in matters before the U.S. Supreme Court, all 13 U.S. Courts of Appeals, in federal and state courts nationwide, and before a broad range of arbitration panels and administrative agencies. We also have exceptional transactional practices that focus on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, securities law, corporate and public finance, federal and state tax, technology and intellectual property, government relations, real estate, environmental and energy law, insurance, bankruptcy and reorganization, international transactions, employment, labor and executive compensation, and health care.
Our associates are given the opportunity to take on meaningful responsibilities very early in their careers. Our approach allows them to quickly become highly valued members of small teams working directly with clients.
Our engagements for our clients encompass the broadest imaginable sweep of legal work. To name only a few examples, some of the recent matters our lawyers have worked on include:
- Representing United States Amateur Boxing, Inc., the national governing board for amateur boxing in the United States located in the U.S. Olympic headquarters in Colorado Springs, Colorado
- Representing Limited Brands, Inc., most recently in connection with the sale of 75% of its ownership in Express
- Representing, on a pro bono basis, a Polish father seeking return of his son under the Hague Convention and the International Child Abduction Remedies Act
- Representing a nationwide retailer in a putative class action alleging discrimination in the Northern District of California.
