Located blocks away from the White House, our Washington, D.C. office was opened in 1975. The office is home to more than 25 lawyers who practice in the areas of intellectual property, trademark and patent law, risk management and professional malpractice, litigation, international trade, and federal and state environmental compliance. Our Washington lawyers also represent our clients before Congress and the dozens of federal regulatory agencies located in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
We also maintain a service office in Alexandria, Virginia, and several of our attorneys provide litigation support for our clients that have cases on the well-known “rocket docket” in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
Our Washington lawyers are active in the Whitman-Walker Clinic, a community-based health organization that provides support for individuals with HIV or AIDS, Guiding Eyes for the Blind, an organization that trains puppies to serve as seeing eye dogs, the Susan G. Komen National Race for the Cure, the Maryland Judicial Disabilities Commission, the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce, the Alexandria Convention and Visitors Association, and the Alexandria Waterfront Committee.
